It seems there was a missed call on our office phone.

I received a call from the number 02081336690 from someone saying they were with trustpcsupport. They claimed they needed to access my computer to catch a hacker, which was pretty unsettling. The worst part was that they already seemed to know some personal account info. The caller, who sounded Asian and called herself “Lisa Green”, started telling me details about my account, even though I never gave them any confirmation. I quickly hung up and cancelled my account straight away. On the phone, she got very upset and threatened to report me to antifraud uk if I didn’t let her in. I told her to go right ahead. She was super persistent, angry and rude when I refused to cooperate. I have since reported the incident to Action Fraud, using a link found on the City of London Police site. They also mentioned a strange address: 2 Gooseberry, Hinckley, London. Honestly, these people seem really dangerous and really ought to be stopped before they scam more folks.

Watch out, this lot are proper scammers. They claim your email’s been hacked and even tell you when it supposedly happened. They already have your details to make the whole thing seem legit, and then they give you a name and a phone number to ring back if you’re suspicious. Like that somehow makes it more trustworthy? Eventually, they want to get remote access to your computer. Please don’t get caught up in it. If sharing this stops just one person from getting scammed, it’s worth it. Cheers!

Keep getting calls from them saying there’s some scam on my computer and asking me to stay by it so they can fix the issue. They don’t seem to give up easily.
