On Saturday 15th June around half past midday I got a call from this number. The person said they were from O2 talking about my O2 contract, but I don’t even have one with them. I told them they must have dialled the wrong number or it was some kind of scam and asked them not to ring me anymore. Then I ended the call and blocked the number.

Really risky stuff. Got a call from a woman with an accent, claiming to be from O2 - just like that scam we saw on the TV on 25/10/2023. They’re definitely not O2, so I just pretended I couldn’t hear and they hung up. Unfortunately, they’ll just move on to someone else who might fall for it. Send a text to 7726 You’ll get an automatic message back from O2 asking you to send the number that’s faking them. 2.
