I reckon this number might be a bit dodgy and potentially part of a phishing scheme. The caller claimed to be from Microsoft, suggesting there was an attempted hack on my device, and they insisted I follow their instructions, like checking my event log. I had my suspicions when the woman on the other end began to sound quite irritated that I wasn’t rushing to comply. When I asked for a callback number, they provided the digits listed above, yet once I hung up, my caller ID displayed 03009? Quite suspicious, if you ask me.
