Ridiculous situation, honestly. No sooner had I posted an ad on Gumtree than these people started ringing me up nonstop. Total scam vibes.

i'm pretty sure it wasnt a legit call centre. the guy said it was about some accident from like 2 years ago but ive never had one. he kept using the wrong name and kept pestering me for my information. then he started saying he fancied me and wanted to meet up, even asked my age! i kept asking why, and when i told him i was recording and would call the cops, he said "no you won't" and hung up. watch out for stuff like this!

Got a call from a number claiming to be BT, saying they needed to set up my computer. Told them straight away I’m not with BT, so just another dodgy scammer trying it on.

They keep ringing non stop - i never pick up cause its prob some scam or sumthing - and no message left either, really annoying and totally unwanted!

Got a call from some guy named Aman who said there was a car crash he was involved in a couple years back. Sounded fishy to me, so I just blocked the number right away!

I got six calls from this number in just about four minutes. Each time I ended the call, they rang straight back, telling me there’d been a car crash and my family might be able to claim some money. The odd thing is, I don’t own a car and none of my relatives even live in this country.
