02081334407 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02081334407 👆 is reported as a persistent scam from callers pretending to be O2 or Virgin Mobile, warning that your SIM will be deactivated soon and offering a new 5G SIM. They often request personal info like verification codes, emails, or memorable words without confirming account holder details. Many callers have foreign accents, possibly from India, and use high-pressure tactics or rude behaviour. Background noise and quick talking are common, and transferring between different voices raises suspicion. Numerous users highlight the calls as fraudulent, advising caution as genuine companies would verify identity properly and wouldn’t ask for sensitive info this way. The claims about network issues or mergers are false, and the calls seem designed to trick people into sharing personal details.

They said they were from Virgin Mobile or O2 but it was all a lie. Just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Don't trust them, they pretend to be from o2 but they're not. Just hang up straight away and don't answer any questions. Best thing is to block the number right away. Total scam!

Got a call supposedly from Virgin/O2 claiming they were shutting down my SIM tomorrow because it wouldn’t work on their network anymore, and that a new 5G one would be sent within 2 days. Total rubbish. Then they sent a code and wanted me to tell them what it was - like I’m daft or something. I just ended the call, and they rang me back immediately. Needless to say, I blocked the number.

It all seemed pretty legit at first, but then they put me through to another guy with an Indian accent who started asking for my email details. I told him he should’ve already got that info in their system, and then he just ended the call.

They’re obviously ringing from some dodgy call centre in Bombay, India. I swear, they tried to rip me off. Honestly, hope something awful happens to them! What a scam!

I got a call from someone saying they were with O2, explaining I needed to swap my SIM because of some technical problem. It sounded convincing at first, but then he asked me to open a pop-up on my Gmail and enter a code he gave me, which immediately raised my suspicions. The guy was quite pushy and really rude when I hesitated. Honestly, don’t let anyone rush you into something that seems dodgy! I wish I'd held back on sharing my email till I was sure it wasn’t a scam.

Just got a call that seemed like a total scam. They said my sim card can’t get 5G on O2 anymore and then tried to get me to give my memorable word. They wouldn’t even say who they were or confirm my name on the account. Seriously dodgy, so watch out for this kinda stuff! 😠

Some lady phoned me saying she was calling from Virgin Media, telling me about a merger with O2. I told her to stop and hung up, but then she called back again. You could hear loads of noise in the background, so I’m pretty sure it was a call centre. The merger they mentioned actually took place ages ago. Just watch out! The woman spoke really quickly and wasn’t local, though it showed a London number on my phone.
