I received calls from this number on both my home phone and mobile yesterday. I don’t share my landline with anyone, which means it must be some kind of scammer trying their luck. This same number has tried to contact me before, and I remember the caller had a really thick West African accent. They got quite irked when I countered with a recorded message in Portuguese-not that they ought to be surprised, considering their intentions! It seems they’re not deterred and want another go. I missed their attempts yesterday, but should they decide to ring me again, I’d be more than happy to continue the conversation in Portuguese!

It’s a classic scam, reminiscent of those notorious Nigerian 419 schemes!

I chose not to pick up the phone since the number was unfamiliar to me. Thought it prudent to look up this site first. Delighted that I did, as now I can add it to my blocked list. I can't help but ponder how many more numbers I can prevent from getting through, given that my list is rather extensive! In any case, cheers for the valuable info!

Received a couple of calls from a certain Rosie Hunter, first yesterday and then again today. She mentioned something about my being involved in a car accident recently. Quite bemusing, to say the least!
