1 yearGot a call from some bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was from O2 and said he was located in Slough. I asked him to give me his postcode and the number he was calling on. Then I looked up the real O2 customer service number since I knew the one he called me from was dodgy. After a bit of back and forth, he ended up hanging up on me.Slough2 yearsGot a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from Sky. I told him I was busy with a meeting and would ring back later - seemed to confuse him a bit. He then gave me a number to call, 020 8133 2002, which didn’t match the number he called from (020 3290 9232). He mentioned it was about Sky Mobile, so I flipped the script and said I had a complaint about Sky and wanted to check if he was with the complaints department. I asked him a few times which team he was with and it really threw him off. After I kept pressing him on it a third time, he just ended the call.Sky2 yearsReceived a call claiming to be from O2. They seemed to know everything about me and had sent 4 mobiles and an iPad to my house. Then they phoned from that same number asking me to send the devices to a new address. I contacted O2 straight away and they confirmed that number wasn’t theirs. They’re now handling it through their Fraud Department. Always best to hang up and call the company using the contact details you find yourself if you’re unsure.O2Fraud TeamSubmit Your Own Report (020 8133 2002)
