Got a dodgy call pretending to be from HMRC, saying it's their last try and warning me about legal trouble and some grand jury thing! The number was from the US, and the voicemail sounded like a yank too, which was fishy. When I rang back, they claimed I owed more than £4,000 in tax. Told them I’m homeless, and they just said that can’t be true and hung up on me. Just so you know, I’m not homeless, and they never gave any real details - all I did was say my name before I figured out it was a scam.
