Some scammer rang me pretending to be John Irwin and gave a Dudley address. Can't trust these sorts!

Just got a call for my mum from a bloke claiming to be John Irwin at Action Fraud. He told her to keep the call secret, which was fishy enough, but the really weird part was how he seemed to know exactly how much cash she’s got in her account. Definitely felt off to me.

I got a call from this number saying they were from Norton Security, trying to claim they’ll be charging me more than £100 soon. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it.

From what I found, that number is linked to E-Bridge Outsourcing - you can see this in their Twitter profile here:

That said, since they're a proper business, it’s quite possible that scammers have gotten hold of their number and are ringing people pretending to be them.
