I received a call from a woman who had a distinctly strong Asian accent, claiming to be representing O2. She insisted that, as a valued long-time customer, I was eligible for a substantial upgrade. I had to inform her that their records must be mistaken, as I haven't been with O2 for around five to six years now. To my surprise, she cut me off without so much as an apology for the oversight. Based on my previous experiences, I strongly suspect this was a phishing attempt or a scam of some kind.
