Beware! I received a dodgy call from a call centre in India claiming to be regarding my Amazon Prime subscription. They suggested that my renewal fee of £79 was due and pressed me to verify my credit card details in order to halt the charge. It’s definitely a scam!

Watch out for scammers! My wife got a call from this number, with someone pretending to be from Amazon support, trying to get remote access to her phone under the guise of fixing her Amazon Prime. Sounds like one of those dodgy call centres from India. Fortunately, I was around and gave them a piece of my mind in Hindi, their own tongue 😂😂. Don’t ever let these people connect to your devices and definitely report them to action fraud!

Somebody called me claiming to be from Amazon, saying my Prime membership was about to renew and I’d be charged £79. Then they passed me onto another caller who wanted to see my iPhone screen to help cancel it. I foolishly shared my screen but then was told to enter a strange web address in Safari. That’s when I realised it was all a trick, so I hung up and blocked the number straight away.
