Got a call from someone saying they were with the National Insurance Bureau, telling me I'd been in an accident and owed a few thousand quid in compensation. The accent was foreign and hard to get, and they kept pushing me hard, almost rude. I was putting an ad up on Gumtree the day before, so guessing they grabbed my number from there based on what others have said. Definitely sounds like one of those African or Asian scam calls.

Got a phone call from some bloke called Michael who claimed he could put me down as a passenger in a recent accident and get me £5,000 compensation. Sounded like he had a heavy accent, maybe of Pakistani origin. Definitely felt dodgy to me.
