Whenever a bank calls you out of the blue, it’s best to hang up right away, wait a bit, then ring your bank back using the number that’s on your card. Don’t use any number they give you in the call. Also, if you haven’t already, check out the show 'Scam Interceptors' on BBC One or catch it on iPlayer. It’s pretty eye-opening to see how these crooks operate live, and how the good guys manage to take over their systems to catch them out.
