Someone rang me saying they were from O2, claiming they had noticed some signal problems on my line and that they’d post me a new SIM card. I asked them to verify my identity, and as expected, they couldn’t do it. I ended the call, but then they called me back straight away! This time they said my number was selected for some kind of promotion because my SIM was going to be blocked soon. When I told them it sounded like a scam, they seemed quite put out.

Over the past couple of days, I've had two calls from different numbers, both saying they were from o2. They sounded fishy, so I just ended the call and blocked them straight away.
