I got a call from a woman who sounded Indian, saying she was from London Mobiles. She was pushing an iPhone 12 Pro Max for £30 a month. I said no thanks, not interested, but she just wouldn’t take no and kept trying to persuade me that she could offer a better deal. She kept asking what phone I currently use and ignored me when I said I wasn’t interested.

020 8123 5064 rang me about 10:15 this morning. An automated message said something about my national insurance number being involved in fraud near the Welsh border. They told me to press 1 to talk and avoid legal trouble with my name and NI number. I stopped listening pretty quickly. No official agency has this phone number, as it’s not my main one, which was my first hint it was dodgy. Looking it up here, apparently this number’s called others about their mobiles. Strange! Obviously, I didn’t press 1, instead I came straight here, and glad I did!

Said they were from London Mobile Phone Company but the accents and noise in the background gave away that it was some call centre abroad. Didn't stick around to listen any longer as it was clear they had no clue who they were ringing. Definitely a cold call and probably a scam. The reviews here backed that up.
