Got a call from a hidden number, someone pretending to be from TalkTalk saying there was a problem with my router and they needed to access my computer. I asked for a reference number, and they told me to ring back on 020 81233558. I didn’t trust it and looked up the official TalkTalk contact details online. When I called the genuine TalkTalk number, they said they hadn’t contacted me, so it was clearly a scam trying to fish for info.
