4 yearsI have been inundated with calls from a number that insists I must ring back. They claim I’m entitled to £3800 in PPI compensation, but first, I need to purchase a pay safe voucher for £100. Supposedly, I’d get that back once the funds are released. Like a bit of a numpty, I nearly fell for it, seeing the prospect of such a sum! Of course, no one ever showed up with the cheque, and I let the whole thing slip from my mind over the weeks. Then today, on the 25th of October, I received yet another call suggesting my voucher hadn’t cleared and that I needed to buy a new one, this time costing £150. That really set off alarm bells!
