This number rang our landline and the caller asked straight for me by name. I wasn’t there, just my little brother who’s doing homeschooling at the moment. Our hospice got a call from this number looking for someone who’s not even here. When I told the caller straight up that they’d reached a hospice and offered to help, the line just cut off. Right from the start, you could tell there was a pause - like they’re using some kind of auto-dialer that connects to whoever picks up first. Lucky for us, I’m the first point of contact, so as long as I’m answering, they won’t be able to bother anyone else in our place.

Got a call from a person saying they were from HEAT, telling me my boiler warranty had run out and needed renewing. I told them I've no boiler cover as my boiler's well over 30 years old. After I pointed out I’d never shared with them that I’m on the TPS list, she told me to ask the TPS why it didn’t show up on their system. Doesn’t sound right to me - isn’t it standard for companies to check the TPS before making calls? I’m definitely reporting this one.
