Had no clue whose number this was, I don’t usually pick up calls from London unless they leave a message. If it’s really important, they should just leave something on my voicemail and I might ring them back if I feel like it.

I got a call from someone claiming to be BT, saying my landline and broadband service was gonna be disconnected. The weird thing is, I don’t even have BT! They told me to switch on my laptop and then wanted me to describe what I saw on it. I just said there was nothing there cos I could tell it was a scam straight away. Then they actually told me to bin my laptop, said it was useless now or something daft like that. Proper muppets if you ask me.

Got a call from some sort of automated woman’s voice asking if I’d been in an accident. Then it switched me to a call centre where they started pushing me to make a claim for injury. I said I wasn’t hurt, but they still kept saying I could claim something. Definitely feels like a total scam.

About half an hour ago, my mobile, which is already on the TPS list, rang but I missed the call. When I called back it was dead. Knowing how many scams are out there, I decided to check the number online, and after seeing what others said, I’m glad I didn’t pick up. I’ve now blocked that number for good.

Got a call from 020 81066662 on my mobile that I only use for internet stuff, no voice calls ever and it’s not public anywhere. So, I rang them back hiding my number (141) and all I got was this weird robotic voice going "Your call is important, please wait to speak to an agent." After waiting ages, nearly 7 minutes, it just hung up with a "Goodbye." Definitely seemed dodgy to me.
