Got a message about a £2199 payment for some gaming stuff out of nowhere. My other half freaked out and ended up giving them my card info because they claimed they were going to refund it. As soon as I found out what happened, I rang my bank straight away. They told me that someone tried to take out two payments of £200 each within about 30 minutes after she’d given away the details. Thankfully, Nationwide stopped the payments from going through. Total SCAM, be careful out there. Definitely learnt my lesson.
