I've had this unknown number ring me a couple of times now, keeps popping up out of nowhere.

02081033218 just rang me up saying they were from Tesco Mobile, trying to offer some sort of discount for a few months. Thing is, I’m not even with Tesco Mobile, so I told them I wasn’t interested and asked them not to bother me again.

This number rang me claiming to be Tesco, saying because I paid on time I qualified for a discount. Sounds like just another annoying robocall to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were Tesco, they knew quite a bit about me, so I gave them my email. Soon after, I got a message that looked really official from Tesco. It all seemed legit at first, but I asked them to call again tomorrow because I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. The woman on the phone kept insisting it wasn’t, but I needed to be sure. Now I’m worried they might have my Tesco account password.

They said they was ringing from Tesco's phone service, but it was just some dodgy scam.

Got a call from someone saying they were Tesco Mobile, saying I could get 30% off my phone bill plus a free Galaxy Watch 6. I decided to give them a bogus email just to see where it was going. They started asking loads of security questions and then wanted a "Security Deposit" - basically asking me for my card details. The voices on the line sounded like a man and a woman with Indian accents. Definitely a scam, so watch out!

Received a call that was supposedly from Tesco Mobile, where they mentioned some massive discounts on offer. However, when I inquired if it was a scam and requested more information, they abruptly hung up after asking for my email address. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Received a call from a charming Indian lady representing O2, offering some sort of discount. I decided it was best to block the number!

Received a call purporting to be from O2, offering me a lovely 20% reduction on my monthly charges.

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent saying he was calling on behalf of Tesco Mobile. He was trying to tempt me with a 30% off deal for half a year, but only if I gave him my email to send more info. I told him no thanks and pointed out that if he was legit, they’d already have my email. He just went ‘hmm’ and then ended the call.

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who said she was from o2. She was really hard to understand and kept going on even when I tried to hang up. The second I ended the call, she rang me back right away. She was promising a 40% reduction on my o2 mobile bill, but it seemed like a total scam to me.

Got a call from some woman with an Indian accent and I just bluntly asked if she was trying to scam me, and she said no, just messing about. She claimed to be from O2 and even repeated my number back, saying there was a discount deal for me. I asked her my name, and she froze, obviously a con. I was just playing along for a bit, then ended the call and blocked her. Funny how she really wanted to keep me on the phone, seems a bit strange.

Got a call from an Indian guy who was checking if I was still using Vodafone. I told him I wasn’t and then he asked if I was on Tesco Mobile or O2. I said no to both and he just hung up. After checking out other remarks about this number, it’s pretty clear it’s a scam. I’ve blocked it now.

I got a call from someone saying they were with o2, but they didn’t even bother to ask for me properly. Instead of saying something like “Good afternoon, may I speak to Mr...?”, they just jumped straight in with “Hello Sir, this is o2 calling.” Then they went on with “And I’m calling from ####.” Quite unprofessional if you ask me!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with an insurance agency, talking about a small accident I supposedly had. That’s not the insurer I use, and I haven’t been involved in any crash. Sounds like either a dodgy solicitor trying to stir up business or one of those sneaky phishing scams.

Could you please give me a bell later on? I'm expecting a rather crucial call since I'm scheduled for a procedure to transform from a human into a cat - meow! Honestly, these calls are simply pointless, and it seems like they're always from overseas!

It's definitely a scam! They pretend to be affiliated with EOn for some baffling reason. Don’t fall for it, as it leads nowhere productive.
