Got a call from O2 but the guy was mumbling so much I couldn’t make out what he was saying, ended up blocking the number.

They said something about O2 but I wasn’t totally sure what they were actually trying to sell.

I got a call from 020 8103 3209 the other day claiming they wanted to do a survey about O2 and asking if I’d had any issues with my phone. They tried to get my email but I didn’t give it to them. Seemed like a total scam to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be insurance about a road accident. I told them they were wrong and then they started telling me to f*ck off and stop wasting their time. When I mentioned they were the one calling me and wasting my time, they just called me a b*tch and slammed the phone down 😂

Got a call from a bloke with a sort of Asian accent claiming he was from Aviva, talking about some “recent accident” of mine. I knew it was dodgy straight away, but instead of just hanging up, I thought I’d mess with him a bit. Gave him a bunch of made-up info and kept him chatting for close to 20 minutes, probably stopping him from conning someone else. Eventually, he realised I was having a laugh and ended the call. Honestly, wouldn’t mind if something bad happens to the muppet on his way back. What a twat.

Received a call claiming to be from an insurance company regarding a car accident. When I challenged the veracity of their statement, the chap told me to shove off and stop wasting his time. I reminded him he was the one who rang me up and was squandering my precious minutes, to which he retorted by calling me a derogatory term before abruptly ending the conversation. Quite amusing, really! 😂

So I got a call from Legal Assist about some recent little accident, right? When I asked if anyone still really falls for this kind of con, they just cut me off. Bit cheeky if you ask me!

Received a dodgy call claiming I'd been involved in a car accident. Definitely felt like a scam; they were trying far too hard to get my details.

A chap claimed he was from an insurance company regarding a car accident. When I challenged his story, the bloke told me to shove off and not bother him. I mentioned he was the one who dialled my number, effectively wasting my time, and his response was to hurl insults at me before cutting the line. Quite the experience, I must say! 😂

Typing to you while still on the call, accidentally got caught in a scam. They said they’d pay me and wanted my info - total con artist!

Insurance hoax alert! So here’s how the chat unfolded: 'Good day, I’m … from (couldn’t catch the name) home insurance. We’ve been informed about your incident, could you share the details?' 'I dropped a load so massive, it caused my loo to blow up!' 'Pardon me, madam, I didn’t quite follow that. Could you say it once more?' 'I dropped a load so massive, it caused my loo to blow up!' I declared, clear and strong. 'Ah, right then, madam.' And just like that, they terminated the call.

Suspicious call asking if I’d been in any recent car crashes; as soon as I questioned which email they were using for this info, they just cut me off...

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Aviva about a car crash I supposedly had (which I didn’t). I told him he’s definitely not from Aviva, and then he loses it, shouting stuff like “F*** you, you f***ing ####, f***ing drop dead, ####.” Honestly, if they ring again, I’m all set to put him in his place!
