They called me this evening, and I instantly recognised the type of call it was - having spent a good sixteen years in the tech field, I felt rather irate. Letting them have both barrels (complete with some colourful language), I promptly disconnected the call. To my dismay, they rang again but I chose to ignore it. A quick redial led me here to this site to unearth more information. Honestly, folks, would you entertain the idea of buying something from total strangers knocking at your door? Would you seriously think it wise to allow some scruffy chaps in a battered old van to resurface your driveway? So why in the world would you consider letting someone remotely access your computer? It's quite baffling! There are numerous reputable tech companies around-seek one that comes highly recommended and is well-established. You’ll likely find a better deal too!

I had a call from these chaps today, and I must say, they’re nothing short of a scam. They claimed our system was compromised by Stuxnet - a genuine issue back in 2010, and quite frankly, every reputable software security solution out there can handle it. Whatever you do, don’t part with any of your cash (a bit late for us, sadly!) or grant them remote access to your device. They were using the name Apturo, and their website has a rather polished appearance that could easily mislead anyone. I would urge you to hang up the moment you hear an Asian accent paired with an English name!

Received a call earlier today from a gentleman of Asian descent, who was purporting to represent a company called Global International. He was rather insistent that I switch on my computer straight away, as he claimed my information had reportedly appeared in red on their screen. I wasn’t having any of it, so I politely declined and ended the call.

I must say, Mark Robinson's attempts to convince me of the company's authenticity didn't quite hit the mark. Just out of curiosity, what’s your actual name, Mark? And by any chance, is your number 020 8099 7526?

I've had a rather unsettling call from someone asserting that my computer is infected with a virus and they were keen to assist in cleaning it up remotely. They even attempted to sell me some virus scanning software afterwards. It appears to be an escalating scam, as I've heard countless others report similar experiences about the same sort of calls. We're keen to identify who's behind this number so we can put a stop to it. Does anyone have a clue on how we might track this down?

I must say, Mark Robinson's efforts to ease my concerns about the company's authenticity left quite a bit to be desired. I'm left wondering, what’s your actual name, Mark? And could your phone number possibly be 020 8099 7526?

It’s quite amusing, really, how our computer has been entirely useless ever since it got compromised, all because we refused to part with £360. It’s astonishing that you seemed to be the only one aware of the turmoil this has caused. We’re struggling with a child who has a serious illness and simply can’t afford a new machine right now. Do these people lack any empathy at all?

It's a right scam, I tell you! We recommend that all you lovely readers simply hang up on any calls claiming they need to help you with your computer issues. Just let them know you don’t have a computer at home - trust me, they won’t bother you again. And please, do spread the word amongst your mates and family about this dodgy business!

Absolutely appalling! My mother got involved with this company a mere three weeks after our father's passing, and he was in such a fragile state. It's utterly ridiculous. Just stop this nonsense, honestly!

We received a call from this number yesterday. The individuals on the line claimed to represent a service company. Given that both of our laptops and our desktop have been running rather sluggishly, we suspected there might be some virus issues at play. Thankfully, an engineer named Suzanne came to our aid. She sorted everything out, and now our computers are running like the wind again! After this positive experience, I decided to sign on for a three-year contract with them. I genuinely believe they're a reputable business; they assisted us right in front of our eyes without ever requesting our banking information.

We experienced persistent calls from this number, and it seemed the callers were rather keen on getting in touch again. However, once we clarified that our laptop wasn’t infected with any viruses or issues, they seemed to lose interest.
