I believe the caller was someone named Oliver Bratt. He claimed to be a trader, and since I was keen on making an investment, I unwittingly thought the call was legitimate. Things took a turn when he insisted on downloading some software and then proceeded to control my computer remotely. Alarm bells started ringing when my router's security software flagged the programme as malware. I ended the call rather abruptly, and in a fit of fury, he left a message on my screen regarding what just transpired. This individual is definitely a scammer, likely of foreign origin-sounded a bit Indian to me and was rather difficult to understand. Trust me, it's best to just hang up on these types and report them immediately.
