I've just realised that this is one of those 090 numbers. I tried dialling it again, and it feels like a bit of a trap - they encourage you to call back, and while you're on the phone, they're raking in the cash. If you have a look online, you'll see you can actually buy these numbers yourself. Every time someone rings that number, the phone company charges them, and then that money goes to the person who bought the number. It's really a clever scheme for those too idle to find proper employment. Quite the con, if you ask me!
