4 yearsOn the 29th of April, I rang back this number. The person who answered couldn't really say why they’d called me, only that they worked for GPSi. When I hinted he might be running a scam, he just said, “oh, we’re not like that.” I ended the call there but was a bit worried it could’ve been someone from Openreach since I was expecting a visit from them around that time. I didn’t really know what to do next, and later I was uneasy because no one from Openreach turned up. Then, today on the 9th of May, I got another call from a different person on the same number. This time, they claimed they needed to update my Garmin Express licence and demanded £129, warning that I’d lose access to my satnav if I didn’t pay. I questioned him about whether he was legit and mentioned he might have scammed me before.
