4 yearsOn the 29th of April, I returned a call from this number and was met with a rather unconvincing individual claiming to represent GPSi. When I pressed him on the nature of the call, he couldn't provide a proper explanation. When I mentioned that his intentions seemed rather dubious, he merely replied, "Oh, we're not like that." At that juncture, I decided to end the conversation, though I was a bit perturbed, as I’d been expecting a visit from Openreach around that time. I wasn't quite sure how to proceed, so I just let it go, but later I was left wondering why Openreach never showed up. Fast forward to today, the 9th of May, I received another call from a different person on this same number, asserting that he needed to update my Garmin Express licence and demanded a payment of £129.00, warning that I’d lose access to my satnav if I didn’t cough up. I raised my suspicions about his call, hinting that he might be involved in some dodgy dealings, especially considering our previous encounter. When I inquired where he was phoning from, he claimed "London" but was evasive about providing any specific details.
