The call showed up as from London, England. I just left it ringing and didn’t pick up.

I received a call from someone claiming to be offering me a discount on my Vodafone plan. The inconvenience, however, is that I’m not even a Vodafone customer! I don’t have any kind of contract with them whatsoever. This definitely feels like a scam to me.

02080894088 phoned me a few times, once saying they were from Currys, another time about life insurance, then from EE and O2. Blocked them now.

Someone said they were from EE trying to sell new contracts. When I asked them to prove they were actually from EE, their behaviour got really odd.

Got a call supposedly from Currys PC World. Totally a scam. I asked where they were located so I could set fire to their place along with everyone inside. They gave me some rubbish address and then just hung up. Maybe I should actually start burning these places down, cos it’s obvious the government and laws do nothing to keep us safe from these scammers. So why am I the one who should get in trouble for arson or worse, when nobody is really protected from being hounded by these fraudsters?

Just got a call at 12:25 from someone saying they were with EE, but when I asked why since I’m with Sky, they just hung up straight away. Then a bit over an hour later, same number rang again at 13:47 and this time they said they were my network provider. I’ve blocked the number now.

No one said a word on the other end, I waited around 5 seconds and then they just dropped the call. Pretty sure they’ll ring again soon with some kind of dodgy scam. Feels like they’re trying to suss if an elderly person answers.

Got a call from 02032905769 that felt dodgy. A woman speaking with an Indian accent said she was from O2 and tried to convince me they could lower my bills with no effort needed from me. But when I pressed her for more info, she was all over the place and couldn’t give clear answers. I ended the call and blocked the number to avoid any more possible scams.

When I picked up, the person on the other end just stayed quiet and then hung up after about 5 seconds. I have a feeling they might ring back trying to scam me. To be safe, I’m thinking of filtering the calls to check if they're trying to scam older folks.
