Received a call about some unclaimed money. I asked them repeatedly to remove me from their calling list, like about five times, but they just wouldn't agree. Eventually, I just ended the call. This was actually the seventh time they’d rung me in the last day, all from various numbers but obviously the same call centre in India. Proper annoying!

They keep ringin me up nonstop, sayin I was in some accident that never happened and trying to get my info for a payout. Even when I say I’m not interested, they just dont quit. They keep popping up with loads of different numbers, even mobiles, so blocking one doesn’t help. Best thing is to just ignore them completely or they’ll just keep botherin you forever.

Got a call telling me there's a warrant out for me and I have to ring this HMRC number straight away. Didn't bother answering again, seemed fishy.
