Got a couple of emails today 9/8/2018 saying I owe money from feb 2015. Like others here, I’ve never owed anyone a penny, so I’m just gonna ignore it. The phone number they gave is 203 129 6331, and they want me to get in touch with someone called Reagan Service, a Mr James Cooper or something.

Got an email from some Reagan services asking me to pay £495 for software packaging I supposedly purchased back in 2015. I’ve never actually bought any software packaging except from a local shop, so this has to be a scam. The email was from a David Morgan, with the number 0203 1297 774. I called it and a man with an accent answered, saying he wasn’t David Morgan. When I told him what I thought about scammers and that I’d contact the police, he just said Mr Morgan would call me in ten minutes. Still no call. Reported everything to Action Fraud now.

I recently received an email from a rather obscure debt recovery agency, claiming I owe them £495. This came as a complete surprise, as I was previously unaware of any such issue. I'm definitely steering clear of that number, 02080891330, associated with a Mr Robert Jackson.

I recently received an email from a James Cooper (from geniussupportservicecentre.com) warning me about potential legal proceedings due to an outstanding payment for a tech package. I decided to ring the number provided, and it was unmistakably an Indian voice on the other end, sounding very much like it was from a call centre. They mentioned they would get back to me! I promptly deleted the correspondence.

I asked them what it was about, and they replied by email saying it’s for some computer protection from 2015. I’ve now asked them to provide invoice details and how much it supposedly cost, plus where they’re based. I’m really worried - imagine how someone older might react to this. It’s awful. I’ve gone ahead and reported it to ActionFraud.

Got an email just like the others mentioned here. Right away I thought something was fishy, because I don’t owe money to anyone and never have! This kinda thing can scare folks who don’t know much about it. Best to just ignore it, it’s obviously a scam!!!

The phone number in the scam email is now disconnected. You can tell it's a debt scam because: - they have no clue about your name or where you live - they never say how much you owe - they don’t explain how the debt came about - they never tell you how to pay - there’s no info about the company at all The worst part is, phone companies let these scammers keep going for ages, only blocking the number after loads of people get scammed.

Got an email supposedly from Reagan Service claiming I owed money and if I didn’t pay within a week they’d take legal steps that would harm my credit score. They said to ring Mr David Jones, the credit controller, at 02080891330 to sort it out. Total scam!!!

Got a couple of emails from this "individual" about some unpaid debt dating back to Feb 2016. The first one wasn't even addressed to anyone in particular, then a week later I get a more threatening one, just saying "Dear" and my last name. No info on what the debt is, or how much it supposedly is. I've worked in finance, I’m not daft, and until I get proper paperwork sent to my home address following the right legal steps, they can forget it. Naturally, I’ll be seeking my own legal advice.

I just received a rather unnerving message urging me to call this number with the extension 529, identified as "Reagan Services." They were claiming that I owe money and threatening court action if I don’t respond. Apparently, their representatives tried to reach me previously, but I supposedly cut the call short, insisting I wasn't interested in any purchases. They ominously stated that until the outstanding sum is settled, they reserve the right to impose daily or monthly late fees and various legal charges. Moreover, they stated they're no longer obligated to communicate since they've 'exhausted all options.' I've received countless calls and emails from something called REAGAN SERVICE, threatening to send bailiffs my way. It's quite alarming to think about how they obtained my email address, mobile number, and home phone. After digging a bit deeper, I discovered it’s nothing but a trite scam aimed at tricking you into changing your computer settings while asking for a staggering £240 to fix supposed issues. I've been caught up in something similar in the past, but I've wised up this time. It’s nothing but a TOTAL SCAM and a right con!

I just got an email from Reagan Services saying I owe money from 2015. It’s obviously a total scam, so I’ve sent the email over to Action Fraud. I’d tell anyone else who gets this to report it too. The more people who do, the better chance we have of stopping these scammers.

He said his name was Sean McManus, claimed he was from Scotland and worked for Sean McManus & Co Solicitors in Nottingham. He told me a firm had been chasing me since 2015 and I supposedly owed £359.64. He also said their phone support and charities wouldn’t charge me any late fees. I’ve never had anything to do with this company. They wanted me to send a cheque to etree solutions web security and a letter confirming the money was non-refundable. No way I’m doing that. At least he was on the line with me for an hour so maybe he didn’t scam anyone else.

I've also had a rather unpleasant message requesting cash and menacing mentions of bailiffs for some supposed debt. It's all a blatant scam, so best to just overlook it.

Received an email earlier today stating it's a final reminder, threatening that if I don't settle the outstanding balance in full within a week, they’ll escalate things to their debt recovery agents and potentially even involve the county court. I believe it pertains to some software I purchased for my computer. The message was signed by Linda Blaine and the contact number given was 02080891330.

This number keeps ringing me asking for money, but I never get any bills or legit notices. It's really frustrating and sounds dodgy. I don’t pay a single penny without a proper invoice or official receipt.

My father received an email today on his AOL account threatening to send bailiffs, despite the fact that this practice has been outlawed in Scotland for quite some time. The message didn’t provide any clarity on what the payment is for or the reasons behind it. It’s clearly just a scam!

Got a call on my mobile from this number, and I've got no clue how they got hold of my details. They were babbling on about some overdue account and threatened court action-absolute rubbish! Their English was poor, and the grammar was even worse. They sounded quite rushed to end the call when I tried to get a word in. Total scam, if you ask me.

This morning, I got an email claiming that I have overdue payments, which is rather baffling as I haven't owed any money to anyone. They even threatened to send debt collectors to my residence! To make matters worse, I'm completely unfamiliar with this company and I always ensure that my bills are settled through direct debit. I can confidently say that I have no debts hanging over my head. Is this a ruse?
