If you've been a victim of these deceitful enterprises and lost money, you should reach out to Companies House at 0303 1234 500. After shelling out a hefty fee for their All-Inclusive Service Engineer call-out to mend or swap out any broken gear, I’m now facing the unbelievable hassle of trying to actually reach them when I need assistance, as promised in their blurb. Frankly speaking, the company seems utterly incapable of delivering what they’ve advertised, which has me seriously contemplating taking legal action for what I suspect could be fraud. My attempts to get in touch have been met with nothing but silence. Any suggestions on what steps I should take next?

On 26/06/2018, my mum got a cold call and ended up signing a 4-year Maintenance Support Plan to fix her TV Broadcasting gear, costing her £252. The plan covered the period from 26/06/2018 to 26/06/2022, and she genuinely thought she was speaking to Sky. Then about six months later, she was shocked to get another contract in the post she knew nothing about - this time it was a Lifetime Maintenance Plan starting from 27/12/2018, again for £252. When she asked for her money back, they flat out refused.

I've just received another call from this lot claiming that the warranty on my washing machine has expired and that I need to renew it through them. The thing is, my washing machine is merely nine months old! I mentioned this to the chap on the phone and requested him to remove my number from their list. He was incredibly discourteous and just slammed the phone down on me. Absolutely dreadful service!

Just wanted to share my experience with this firm claiming to represent Sky. They managed to convince my elderly mother to buy a so-called lifetime maintenance package for her Sky system, costing a whopping £252. When I reached out to various staff members about cancelling the service and getting a refund, their attitude was shockingly rude. Apparently, the only way to request a refund is through email, which raises all sorts of red flags for me. I'm not optimistic that they will follow through on it. I've already contacted HSBC and plan to take this to my credit card's insurance, although I don’t expect much success. This company really ought to be looked into!

Dont fall for this, its a common scam trying to steal your credit card info by faking as Sky TV and targeting folks in the UK. The outfit behind it now goes by Tech Support Services, operating out of a bleak call centre in Benidorm, Spain, and is linked to a guy named Ali Cherif Belalia Taha. Before that, it was known as UK TV Care Ltd., managed by Anita Louise Kimbell from Kettering, but they got shut down once the FCA stepped in and the press exposed the whole con.

They contacted my elderly mum, who is 90 and lives on her own, claiming to be representing Domestic and General about warranty protection for Sky boxes. They'd promised her a more affordable option than what she currently has. Although I was under the impression that our D & G coverage was only for kitchen appliances, I told them I’d verify it and get back to them. However, once I searched the number they provided, I discovered it was the exact same ruse that has caught out many unsuspecting victims before. Thankfully, I was there to step in and inform the authorities about these crooks.

Back in February, TSS contacted my mother-in-law and managed to extract £252 from her. When the documentation landed, I immediately suspected something fishy and attempted to revoke it within the 14-day cooling-off window. However, the cancellation had to be communicated via email, and as she doesn't possess one, I took it upon myself to handle that for her. Since that moment, I've been tangled up in countless phone calls and emails trying to sort this mess out. Eventually, I got a cancellation form signed and sent back, but now they've claimed we missed the cancellation deadline, despite not providing the form until September! To top it off, I've been informed they won't engage with me unless I have a power of attorney, but honestly, I'm convinced it wouldn't change a thing. Their legal team is firmly planted, unwilling to compromise. It’s absolutely appalling. I'm urging everyone to steer clear of this outfit-it's like inviting trouble right to your doorstep!

For the past year and a half, these pests have relentlessly harassed my mum with phone calls, despite her telling them time and again to back off! Today, she was fortunate enough to have her bank turn down a hefty charge of £242.00. It's unbelievable how they tricked her into revealing her card information! When I contacted them, they were utterly insufferable and downright condescending. Don’t they feel any guilt about what they're doing? It’s nothing short of theft and a disgraceful exploitation of vulnerable elderly individuals. I plan to report this to the authorities, but I’m not holding my breath for any meaningful action. Today, I received a call strikingly similar to what others have reported - a rather pushy pitch about slashing my Sky insurance costs. They rattled off a slew of details pertaining to my home address, then tried to guide me toward making a payment. However, when I explained that I was out in the garden and couldn’t access my cards, they insisted on the need for my information despite clearly having it on hand. Lodge a complaint with the fraud division of your local constabulary! It makes one wonder-when will our well-compensated politicians and government officials finally take a stand against these relentless cold-calling con artists? It seems like it’s always just talk and no action. If you can manage it, consider ditching your landline; the vast majority of calls tend to be meaningless spam. When I probed them about my current payments, they were utterly clueless and hung up on me. It's clear this is a con. I hold BT responsible for handing out their lines. It's the customers of BT who are being taken for a ride, and they ought to terminate this line and establish a thorough vetting procedure to filter out scam operations. They tricked him into believing he had an existing warranty with them that required renewal. Regrettably, he ended up disclosing his debit card details, resulting in a hefty £259 being siphoned from his account. He's attempted to rectify the situation, but they insist that the first year's fee of £65 is non-refundable. I'm determined to pursue this further… it’s a complete con. I've already reported it to the police, the fraud department of the bank, and the FCA.

I received a dodgy phone call today from someone purporting to be from a firm that supposedly got my information from Sky. Total nonsense, if you ask me!

My father was hit with a charge of £252, which included postage. He attempted to halt the payment on the very same day at the bank, but they informed him that since it was made with a debit card, it couldn't be reversed. After reaching out to the customer service team, they claimed that the 14-day cooling-off period had expired and refused to issue a refund. This whole situation screams of a scam! I've already reported it to Trading Standards.

I can't believe the audacity of these lowlifes! They managed to hoodwink my 80-year-old mother into thinking she 'had to' get this insurance. Thankfully, the bank was on the ball and flagged it up, halting the initial payment. But can you imagine? They actually called her, pressing her for the money! Not today, though! It appears they're preying on the elderly. Absolutely despicable behaviour! 😡🤬

I mentioned to my father, who is living with dementia, that they were a customer support line for Sky. They charged him £249, and just as they were processing the payment, I overheard him speaking on the phone and insisted they issue a refund on the spot. They mentioned a website, www.tss4you.net, but it appears to be non-existent. This is clearly a scam, so please take care!

I received a rather dubious call today from a company claiming they could slash my Sky Protect bill by 50%. They proposed a one-time payment of £249 for a service extending over four years. When they began to ask for my card information, I promptly told them I’d get back to them later. Curious, I decided to look up the name they provided, Tech Support Services, but alas, I found not a trace of them online. A quick chat with Sky confirmed my suspicions; they hadn’t heard of this outfit at all. Please, everyone, steer clear of this scam!

That same number managed to get in touch with my grandmother, repeating a similar spiel about Sky. It’s particularly distressing as she suffers from dementia and has ended up sharing her card information, making a payment of £249. I’m currently working on securing a refund for her. It's absolutely outrageous that these types of companies are still allowed to operate!

I’ve just had a rather frustrating conversation with my father today. It seems he was contacted about some kind of refund or insurance, but given his dementia, he can get quite muddled. It turns out they’ve taken a hefty £249.00 from him! It’s infuriating to think they’ve exploited his condition like this. I’m currently trying to sort out a refund, but they’re completely unresponsive to the emails I’ve shot off. Absolutely maddening!

It’s absolutely dreadful that they’ve called my mother thrice now, and considering she has dementia, it really isn’t right. People can be so cruel.

I recently received a concerning call regarding my elderly mother, who's 87. The caller claimed to be from SKY and was stating that her subscription was about to see a reduction of several hundred pounds. They nearly managed to obtain her switch card details. Thankfully, my mum reached out to me, prompting me to ring the number 0208 0891183. An individual named Emily picked up and mentioned something about TSS. They were pushing some sort of breakdown insurance for Sky boxes. When I requested they cease contacting my mother, Emily simply hung up. Despite my attempts to reach out again, she refused to engage further. It’s utterly appalling how these companies exploit the vulnerable! If anyone has insights into this outfit, please make a report!

I received a rather alarming call on behalf of my 87-year-old mother, who was informed they were from SKY and that her service charges would be slashed by hundreds. They nearly managed to extract her debit card details before she reached out to me in a panic. I then dialled the number 0208 0891183 and spoke to someone named Emily, who mentioned something about TSS? It turns out they were peddling a kind of breakdown service for Sky boxes. When I requested they cease contacting my mother, she abruptly ended the call. Despite several attempts to follow up, she refused to engage with me further. It’s utterly appalling how these businesses target vulnerable seniors with their deceitful tactics. If anyone has any information regarding this company, I urge you to report them!

I’ve been bombarded by this number ringing my phone a staggering five times daily! It’s absolutely outrageous that they’re allowed to harass me like this. I’ve chosen not to pick up, but it’s getting quite tiresome.

Got a call from some unsolicited telemarketer... but as soon as I picked up, they just cut off!
