First thing you wanna do is ring Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 - they’re already clued up about these scammers. Then keep banging on at Tech Support Services, asking for your money back. Don’t forget to put 141 before you call to hide your number. They also answer on 02038077151. Doing this will really get on their nerves and waste their time. This firm, TSS, shows up on the FCA’s warning list, is registered in the UK but actually runs from a call centre in Spain, likely Benidorm. They hire English speakers who rip off people in the UK. They also run a bunch of similar companies, and recently three directors quit - Ali Cherif Belalia Taha, Eva Abad Del Cueto and Anita Louise Kimbell. Fun fact, Anita’s from Northampton and was born in 1968. All these companies are tied to Euroiberomed Trading (EIMT), a Spanish firm into travel, property and Aloe Vera.

On 26/06/2018, my mum got a cold call and ended up signing a 4-year Maintenance Support Plan to fix her TV Broadcasting gear, costing her £252. The plan covered the period from 26/06/2018 to 26/06/2022, and she genuinely thought she was speaking to Sky. Then about six months later, she was shocked to get another contract in the post she knew nothing about - this time it was a Lifetime Maintenance Plan starting from 27/12/2018, again for £252. When she asked for her money back, they flat out refused.

Got a call again from these lot today, saying my washing machine warranty had expired and I had to renew it through them. Told them my washing machine is only 9 months old, so that’s not right. Got a text about a dodgy login attempt on my Wells Fargo account, which is weird cos I’ve never even dealt with Wells Fargo. Definitely some phishing scam going on. Similar experience here. A firm said they were Sky and managed to sell my elderly mum a lifetime system upkeep plan for £252. When I tried sorting a refund and cancellation with different folks there, they were quite hostile. They insisted the refund process had to go through email, which felt dodgy. Dont fall for this, its a common scam trying to steal your credit card info by faking as Sky TV and targeting folks in the UK. The outfit behind it now goes by Tech Support Services, operating out of a bleak call centre in Benidorm, Spain, and is linked to a guy named Ali Cherif Belalia Taha. Before that, it was known as UK TV Care Ltd., managed by Anita Louise Kimbell from Kettering, but they got shut down once the FCA stepped in and the press exposed the whole con.

Someone pretending to work for Domestic and General called my 90-year-old mum, who lives alone, offering a cheaper warranty for her Sky box. They claimed they could save her money compared to her current cover. I was aware that she already had insurance through D & G, but thought it was just for kitchen appliances, so I told them I'd check and get back to them. When I looked up the number, it turned out it was a known scam that plenty of others have fallen for. Luckily, I was with mum at the time and could stop those con artists in their tracks and report them.

Back in February, my mother-in-law got called by TSS and they ended up taking £252 from her. When the contract papers showed up, I spotted it was a scam straight away and tried to cancel within the 14-day cooling-off window. The snag was, the cancellation had to be emailed, but since she doesn’t have an email account, I sent it on her behalf. After that, there’s been loads of phone calls and emails, and we only just got a cancellation form signed and sent back. Now they’re claiming we missed the cancellation deadline, even though they only sent the form in September! To make things worse, they’re refusing to communicate with me unless we have a power of attorney, which frankly wouldn’t help anyway. Their legal team is being totally stubborn and unwilling to budge an inch. Honestly, this company is disgusting. Stay well clear of them!!!

I told her we don’t even use Sky, and she immediately said sorry and promised to take us off their calling list. Reading other comments here, I reckon it’s just a trick to check if you’ve got Sky so they can maybe try to scam you. Be careful! I’m glad I checked these reviews first because she spoke with a proper English accent and seemed quite convincing.

So, I got a call earlier from someone trying to slash the cost of my Sky insurance, just like what others have said. My partner got a call from this outfit claiming to offer discounted “Sky equipment support.” She handed the phone over to me and when I asked them how much I’m already paying, they couldn’t answer and just hung up. I’m certain it’s a scam. I reckon BT are partly to blame for letting these scoundrels use their lines. It’s BT customers who end up being conned, they really ought to cut off these numbers and set up a better system to stop scammers applying in the first place. They even had the cheek to call her up, insisting she pay it. Didn’t work out for them though. Looks like they’re preying on the elderly. Proper disgusting behaviour 😡🤬

My dad, who suffers from dementia, got a call from someone claiming to be from Sky tech support. They managed to take £249 from his card. Luckily, I happened to pick up the phone while they were still on and insisted they give the money back straight away. They said their site was www.tss4you.net but that website isn’t real. This is definitely a con, so watch out!

Got a call earlier from these lot claiming they could slash my Sky Protect bill by 50%. They insisted on a one-off fee of £249 that supposedly covers four years. When they asked for my card info, I told them I’d ring back later. Did a quick search for Tech Support Services online and couldn’t find a thing. Sky confirmed they have no connection with them either. Honestly, steer well clear of this dodgy scam!

Today, my dad got a call about some kind of insurance or refund deal. He has dementia, so he gets mixed up quickly. They managed to take £249 from him, which is awful. My elderly mum, who’s 87, got a call from someone claiming to be from SKY, saying her bill was going down by hundreds of pounds. They nearly got her to give out her Sky switch card details. She rang me straight away and I phoned the number back - 0208 0891183. A woman called Emily answered and mentioned something like TSS? They were trying to sell some kind of breakdown cover for Sky boxes. When I told her to stop calling my mum, she just hung up on me. I tried ringing a few more times but she wouldn't answer anymore. It’s shocking how these firms try to take advantage of older folks. If anyone recognises this company, please make sure you report them!

I’ve been getting calls from this number multiple times every day, like five times or so. It’s really annoying, and I haven’t picked up once. Honestly, they shouldn’t be permitted to keep calling like that.
