They didnt even leave a message, so im thinking its either unimportant or just another scam call.

This phone contract deal was a total con. I called them out and straight away they started getting threatening, saying they knew where I lived and mentioned there’s a petrol station close by (which is true, but that’s common in any town really). I took that as a pretty clear hint they might try something like fire damage. Whether they actually have my real address, who knows - it probably depends on where they got their info from, whether they swiped it or bought it somewhere dodgy. Definitely dangerous scammers in my book.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Three, saying they're sending me a SIM card. They asked for my access code, but it said only to share that on live chat. Definitely a big scam, just like others have mentioned!

They ring up pretending to be from Three and are surprisingly good at it, using your name and even quoting your phone number. They’ll tell you you’re eligible for an upgrade and that they’ll send you a new SIM card. Don’t get caught out though, just hang up and contact your mobile provider directly. That’s the only safe way to check if it’s legit, and never share any of your private info with them!
