I picked up the phone and got this automated voice saying BT were reaching out about some illegal activity on my internet. They warned if I didn’t get back to them, they’d disconnect my broadband and landline! Then it asked me to press a button to continue. Thing is, I don’t even have BT where I live - no way they could cut me off! My internet comes from a nearby provider, definitely not BT.
