She said her name was Lily Vardy or something, and claimed she was calling about whether I’d been in an accident that wasn’t my fault, saying I was on her list for it. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I tried to cut her off to ask if she was aware of the Telephone Preference Service - you can sign up for free and cut down on these annoying cold calls - but she just carried on with her sales pitch. I kept bringing it up but she eventually just put the phone down on me!
