A bloke named Harry rings up claiming he can slash 35% off my phone bill. Got a call from 028 9353 5203 yesterday with the same spiel. When I asked a tricky question I suspected a dodgy caller wouldn’t be able to answer, he just hung up straight away.

A woman with an accent from South Asia called and said her name was Kate. She claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse and mentioned some offers on unlimited SIM deals. She asked me for my phone number and what kind of phone I had.

Total scam - claimed to be from O2 and said loads of people were unhappy with their service. Funny how their own signal was rubbish! The caller spoke with a heavy Indian accent. When I asked for info about my so-called "service plan" with O2, they dropped the call. Then, when I said I wasn’t an O2 customer, they quickly tried to switch it up and said they were from Virgin instead.
