There was a brief lag when the call connected, and the person on the line had an Asian accent, referring to me as "Madam" and claiming to be from O2. He suggested they could help lower my bills and then proceeded to inquire about the amount I currently pay. I pushed back a bit, pointing out that if he was genuinely from O2, he should already have that information on hand. His response was to ask me to confirm my details, implying he needed to verify my identity. Not satisfied with his answers, I told him I'd prefer to reach out to O2 directly for assistance. To my surprise, he replied with an expletive and abruptly ended the call.
