Just had my third silent ring of the day, all from numbers that are remarkably similar. The culprits being 0208 079 7943 and 0208 079 7945. What a nuisance!

I’ve been receiving calls from this number every couple of hours! I don’t pick up since I don’t recognise anyone from London. They never leave a voicemail, which leads me to believe it’s probably a scam.

I received a missed call from a London number, but it’s really no surprise in this rather dreary existence of mine. I didn’t answer, and honestly, I suspect it’s just another spam call since I have absolutely no dealings in that part of the world.

Claimed to be representatives from O2 but conveniently forgot to mention it at first. Just another bunch of chancers, if you ask me!

Just had a call from a certain Jessica using this number, claiming I can snag a 30% discount on my bills for a whole year, supposedly kicking off in a fortnight. They’re apparently making this offer because of some grumbling from customers about soaring charges. Honestly, it sounds a bit fishy to me-definitely smells like a scam. Might as well block this number!

I received a call from someone claiming I’d been overpaying on my bill, and they were set to lower it. I asked why I hadn’t received any letter about this, and they explained that they were randomly choosing 1,000 customers for a reduction. Naturally, I probed further on why only a select few were getting discounts if many were being overcharged, and the person on the line became quite irritable. Eventually, they terminated the call after being rather discourteous!

Beware of the so-called 30% oxygen discount; it’s nothing more than a dodgy ploy! You end up shelling out a pretty penny for a mobile phone that’s sent off to a stranger.

With all these dodgy calls flying about these days, I’ve taken to ignoring any number I don’t recognise. It’s just safer that way!

What a farce that caller was! He claimed to be from my network, O2, but I knew straight away it was a dodgy scam. When I called him out on it, he had the nerve to tell me to ‘be quiet’. Charming, isn’t it?

I received a call claiming to be from O2, where the individual insisted they could assist me with an upgrade. When I mentioned I wasn't interested, they became quite relentless in their sales pitch. I pointed out that it seemed dodgy, and suddenly they got all flustered and panicky before abruptly ending the call. Quite bizarre!

I received a call claiming to be from O2, my supposed mobile provider. They started rattling on about some incredible deal, so I inquired whether they had access to my account information. To my surprise, they confidently responded that they did indeed have my O2 details. I promptly informed them that I don’t even have an account with O2, and without missing a beat, they abruptly ended the call. Quite shady, if you ask me!

When I received a call about "saving some cash on your Netflix subscription," I didn't hesitate to confront the caller directly. I pointedly asked, "You're a scam artist, aren’t you?" He promptly refuted my claim, but I pressed on, asserting that it was the reality of the situation. Suddenly, he ended the call. Mission accomplished!

It had the ring of an Asian lady on the other end, yet another of those pesky overseas callers attempting to pull a fast one. I made it abundantly clear, without mincing my words, how I felt about the whole charade.

Received a call from someone purporting to be from O2. When I challenged them to authenticate their identity, they sent a couple of messages to my phone. While these messages might have originated from O2, I'm very sceptical. The second message contained a one-time passcode that they wanted me to divulge. Being a customer of O2 myself, I'm well aware that they would never request such information over the phone, and their messages clearly warn against sharing it. The caller insisted I shouldn't reveal the code to anyone after our conversation. Just to clarify, I didn’t share it. He said the purpose of the call was to set up a 20% discount for me. To top it all off, they rang me on a bank holiday, outside normal business hours. Absolutely convinced it was a scam.

Utter rubbish! I didn’t utter a word, and the line went dead after just three seconds. Clearly, it was one of those automated spam calls triggered by my silence!

I picked up the call, and there was just utter silence for a good four seconds before they disconnected. Quite peculiar, don’t you think?

I received a call supposedly from O2, claiming I was due a 50% discount. When I inquired about my current bill, he mentioned it was £28, and that next month it would drop to £14. Clearly, I pointed out this was inaccurate. After a rather lengthy chat, he suddenly changed his tune, stating I was actually paying £48 a month. I requested he send me an email for clarification, but he seemed more interested in obtaining the O2 code from me. Upon realising his dodgy tactics, I labelled him a scammer, which prompted him to hurl all sorts of insults my way, including some rather crude names. Honestly, total SCAM!
