He certainly wouldn't take no for an answer, but I had a hunch he was up to no good... Despite the fact that I’m not an EE customer, this caller claimed he could reduce my "EE tariff." How bizarre!

Didn’t pick up when they rang, no voicemail either. Usually means they’re either scammers or just trying to push some rubbish on you.

Got a call from 02080797945, claiming to be from EE. When I asked what it was about, they just started going on about how great EE supposedly is. I told them I’ve never even used EE, so I reckon they’re just scammers. They ended up hanging up on me. Total SCAMMERS, watch out!

Someone called me saying they were from O2. I just said I use a different provider.

I picked up and said "Hi", and all I got back was the same word over and over - "hi, hi, hi" - which was weird because usually they'd say something more instead of just copying me. Then they just cut the call without another word.

Got a missed call but there was no voicemail or anything. I rang the number back and some guy with an American accent said the number wasn't in service. Definitely looks like one of those Bank Holiday scams to me.

Was having a shower when my watch started buzzing. I probably should've picked up and joked about doing something cheeky in the shower, maybe they’d leave me alone after that... then again, that might’ve just tempted the other caller from 020 8079 7942 to ring me too 😏. So in the end, I just blocked both numbers 👍🏽.

There was a lot of background noise when they called, and then they said they were with O2. Funny thing is, O2 has never rung me up, even though I'm using their service. Definitely sounded like a scam :(

Just got a call from someone claiming to be o2, saying I could save 30% on my phone bill. When I said I was with Vodafone, they didn’t even skip a beat and said they could sort me out with 30% off that as well. Total scam, dodgy lot.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, saying I qualified for a discount on my monthly sim plan. They mentioned they already had my number and email, which seemed odd. While on the line, they wanted to send me a couple of texts and kept asking me to confirm my phone number - which was strange since they just rang me on it! They said the messages were for security reasons and told me not to end the call. It felt dodgy, so I ended the call and blocked the number right away.

Today at 1.36pm on May 1st, I got a ring from this number. A few days back, about three days ago, another one came from 020 8079 7941. I just ignore these calls. Honestly, no time to waste chatting with these scam artists. They should just find real work and put in an honest day’s effort.

On the 1st of May at around 1:19 pm, I got a ring from 02080797945. The person claimed to be with O2, pushing some sort of 40% discount if I switched over. I mentioned I’m signed up with TPS, and he just ended the call straight away, bit funny really!

Watch out! This number called me pretending to be from O2 and tried to get me to say the verification code they sent me. I nearly fell for it, but it’s a scam. They use that code to buy stuff on your account and then change the delivery address to get the goods sent to them. Definitely report this number if you get a call from them!
