The phone rang briefly before cutting off, leaving me with no chance to pick up.

Received a call supposedly from O2 claiming I could get a 40% reduction on my phone bill. However, the moment I began to probe for more information to confirm their identity, the line went dead. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I’ve noticed this caller using various numbers all beginning with 020. They've already reached out to me a couple of times, but I experienced similar calls a few months back. It definitely seems to be a case of spam!

I received a call purporting to be from O2, claiming they wanted to reward me for my loyalty with a nifty wireless charger or some headphones. They mentioned a sweet 30% off my bill until August-a nice touch, I thought. I shared my email address and inquired if that was what they had on record, and suddenly, I was cut off! Not long after, they rang me again, asking for my email once more. The chap on the other end had a strong Indian accent but introduced himself with a very British-sounding name, something like John Copper. He began to read out an ID number, but I opted to end the call when he came off rather forceful after I pressed him about what email they had on file since I have more than one. Quite the experience!

Received a call claiming to be from the 3G network. When I probed a bit further, he quickly changed his tune to 3 Network, offering me a whopping 40% discount on my bill, maintaining that it would be the same contract and all. I pointed out that I didn’t actually use 3 Network, and he promptly cut the line. Oddly enough, this is the sixth such call I’ve had in just three days, and I hadn’t experienced anything like this for ages. Seems like someone’s been passing around a fresh list!

I received a call purporting to be from EE, claiming they had some discounts to share. When I requested that they delete my number in compliance with GDPR regulations, he abruptly ended the call. How rude!

I received a phone call regarding a supposed discount on my EE bill, and they were asking me for my security information. When I inquired about the necessity of sharing my details, I suggested that if they genuinely wanted to offer me a discount, they could simply adjust my bill. At that point, they abruptly ended the call.

Received a call from this London number, but they hung up before I could say anything. Curious, I decided to ring them back while withholding my number. They picked up, but just as quickly, I was met with an engaged tone. Having scoured the comments here, it’s glaringly obvious - it’s just another dodgy spammer!

I just received a call from this number moments ago, and bizarrely enough, I had a similar encounter with another number, 020 8079 2359, just about an hour prior. Quite the coincidence, wouldn’t you say?

Received a call from these dubious sorts seeking information. They pose as Brits but are clearly scammers based in India. It's crucial to stay vigilant and refrain from divulging any personal information. A quick search for Indian scammers on YouTube reveals plenty of exposés. If you respond aggressively, it's quite amusing to see how quickly they drop their act!

Received a call from a mobile provider, and it was quite the racket - a lot of background commotion typical of call centres, if you ask me. It was one of those automated systems, and I found myself listening to nothing for a bit while it tried to patch me through to an actual human. Considering I’m registered with the TPS, I reckon this is nothing more than a scam attempt.

I received a call which my daughter picked up, and the individual claimed to be from EE. He then proceeded to compliment her voice, which was rather strange. Following that, he mentioned something about adding him on Snapchat to catch a glimpse of his, shall we say, rather boastful endowment. Just a heads up to keep an eye out for this caller who clearly has questionable intentions.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from O2, trying to entice me with a 40% discount. They sent me a link to an email address, urging me to click it. However, the numerous spelling errors in both the link and the email raised my suspicions. It’s wise to steer clear of these calls and not to engage with them!

I've had seven calls already today, and they’re all from 020 numbers, insisting they’re representing EE. I've flagged this with EE, but they’ve confirmed these calls have nothing to do with them. Judging by the delay and the way they handle things, I suspect the call centre isn’t even based in the UK.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I ignored it. Later, I got a text saying I’d missed a call about some discount offers from O2, which is my mobile provider. I didn’t reply since it felt dodgy, and I blocked the number straight away. This has happened about three times over the past few days, each time with a message including an Airtime PIN that I never asked for from O2. Pretty sure these are scammers trying something fishy.

Got a call from someone with a funny accent saying they were from EE. I was like, "Oh yeah?" and then the bloke just hung up on me. I’ve had one of these calls before where they said 4G was going to be switched off soon or something daft like that. I double checked with EE themselves and they told me it was total nonsense. Definitely a scam.
