I got a call from a different number, picked up and said hello, asked how they were doing. Then I just ended the call. About half a minute later, this very number rings me and it’s the same annoying person again. They asked how I was, and I just hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2, but I’ve never had any calls from them before. The guy on the phone sounded Asian. Then they handed me over to a woman named Hannah. I was pretty certain it was a scam and told them so, but they just kept pushing. They tried to tempt me with a 40% discount on my bill, saying my contract was ending soon - which it isn’t. I’ve heard the BBC are looking into these fake O2 calls too, since I’ve been contacted more than once.

So, here I was, just a ten-year-old kid enjoying my iPad when a call came through. Curiosity got the better of me, and I picked up. The person on the other end started asking for all sorts of personal info, including my debit card number! They even went so far as to say they were from EE, but funny enough, my phone is with Vodafone. Quite the dodgy encounter, I'd say!

I keep receiving calls about some supposed promotions-it's happening nearly every day! This particular time, I decided to play along for five minutes. When they inquired about what upgrade I desired, I cheekily responded with, "I'd love a family bucket meal, complete with a side of gravy and a large Pepsi, please!" To his credit, the chap on the other end even asked if I fancied the steak free of charge before he disconnected the call. What a laugh!

Had a bit of a struggle with their English, but after a few go's, I gathered they were claiming to be from "T Mobile." I pointed out that it's defunct in the UK now, so they might want to rethink their little con. At that point, they just disconnected the call.

I’m just a wee lad of eight years, and the phone rang, so I picked it up. When I said “hello,” the voice on the other end claimed to be from O2. I couldn’t help but giggle and told them I was only eight! 😊

I received a call claiming to be from my mobile provider, boasting a fantastic 40% discount on all their devices. They requested my email address, which I reluctantly shared. However, when it came time to confirm the contract, I decided it was best to contact the provider directly myself. My mobile company dug into the details and confirmed it was indeed a scam. It’s quite disheartening, especially since the previous similar offer I received turned out to be legitimate. If only they had used a different mobile provider's name, it would have been an immediate red flag for us.
