This number has rung me a couple of times. I picked up the second call, but honestly, my bank account is empty, so I don’t see how they could get anything from me. Can they even do anything?

About ten minutes ago, I got a call for my mate, saying she won a free lottery entry but then asked for her sort code and account details. Luckily, I was nearby otherwise they’d have swiped her info. Decided to look up the number online and, surprise surprise, it’s just another dodgy phishing attempt. They even had some answer to a security question to try and sound legit. Told everyone I know to watch out and blocked the number straight away. Stay careful out there, folks!

They keep ringing me about some competition I apparently entered. I've told them loads of times to take me off their list, but they absolutely refuse! Not sure how to block them on my phone either.
