Got a call from this number, the person on the line had a really strong Indian accent and was pretty hard to follow. They said they were from O2 and promised a 40% discount on my next bill. They mentioned they'd send me a one-time code, which I actually did get via text. I ended the call and then rang up O2 myself to check. O2 told me they never ring customers to offer discounts and certainly would never ask for a one-time code or any kind of private info out of the blue. They only ask for that stuff if you contact them first. Total scam / dodgy call!

They claimed to be ringing from the Housing Disrepair department but refused to answer any of my questions before suddenly hanging up on me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with HDR, the Housing Disrepair team linked to the council. I asked her straight up if she was a council employee. She said no, they just work for HDR. Then I wanted to know which company actually pays her wages and she just cut me off and ended the call.

Got a call from 020 8077 9665. I picked up but didn’t really get anything, just background noise like a bunch of people talking outside. Didn’t seem like a proper business call at all. Felt more like they were trying to eavesdrop or maybe even mess with my number when I answered. When I tried ringing back, it just wouldn’t go through. Pretty sure it’s some kind of scam or dodgy number.

Got a missed call with no voicemail left, so I checked online and it seems like a scam. I also had a ring from London just yesterday. Watch out for these numbers from Scotland and London - I've already had about three calls from Edinburgh and a couple from London recently.

Got a call from this number and the lady actually used my full name. She said it was about some repairs for my flat, something to do with a GOVERNMENT SAFE HOUSING program. Thing is, only the COUNCIL would have details on my repairs, so it felt off. I ended the call, but then she rang me again from a different number. I reckon there’s more going on with these scams than it seems at first.

This number has been a right nuisance! They rang me twice, and as soon as I picked up, they cut off the call.
