Really pushy and proper annoying, kept on ringing even after I said no thanks - they were trying to sell some online trading accounts.

they rang me and I picked up, they said they got my number from the FTA. I told them I’d already asked them not to contact me again the first time they called. Then I spoke with a manager who wanted to explain something, I told him the only thing I wanted to hear was goodbye. When he tried to say something else, I just ended the call and blocked the number.

Got a call from this number at 11.30 in the morning and then 4 more at 2.09 in the afternoon, they must be bloody desperate to reach me. I actually blocked this number a couple of weeks back after looking it up here. It’s really annoying to keep seeing the same number pop up on my call blocker. Like other folks mentioned, the call drops right as you pick up. I reckon it’s a way to see if your number is real or in use, then they probably pass it around to other spammers? Normally, I let the t####er app do its thing, showing who’s calling and how many people have reported it as spam, then I just block the number. I got a bit curious today and answered instead. Oh well, won't be getting calls from that number anymore.

Strange thing, got the signal and all, but then there’s a voicemail out of nowhere. Didn’t get any call though. I checked the voicemail, it was from this number, but no message left. Sounds like a load of rubbish to me.

Last evening, my phone rang, and upon answering, a chap with a thick accent inquired about someone named Robbie - that’s my 10-year-old lad! I introduced myself as his mum and pressed for details about the call. He mentioned it was “related to school,” but I wasn’t buying it. I told him he was talking nonsense and asked for his identity. That was the last I heard from him; he just disconnected!
