10 yearsI received a peculiar call from this number, informing me that a cheque for £3,425 had been approved in relation to a PPI that had been resolved through the county court in London. However, I was told that I needed to head over to a Tesco and buy iTunes gift cards worth £225 to cover the so-called commission to facilitate the hand-delivery of the cheque to my doorstep. In a moment of confusion, I complied and ended up sharing the details from the backs of cards totalling £150 just to get that cheque supposedly sent my way so I could deposit it into my bank account. At this juncture, I can’t shake off the feeling that something isn’t right. I'm now on the verge of writing off £150 just in the hope of claiming what's supposedly owed to me.
