I must admit, I was a bit naive in thinking I had a legitimate PPI claim and that a substantial payout was headed my way. I even went ahead and purchased some vouchers as part of the process, but then things took a turn for the worse. I ended up with two phone numbers, 02031299371 and 02032851930, linked to a chap named Steve Gardener. I'm genuinely concerned that others could fall victim to the same scam-let's spread the word and prevent it from happening to anyone else!

I've been barraged all week by this particular number, insisting that I've got £2800 in PPI coming my way. A reputable company had previously informed me that I wasn't owed a penny. These chaps are now pressuring me to purchase £225 worth of vouchers, claiming that a courier will be round to deliver a cheque once I've done so. I just called them back, pretended I had the vouchers, but when they asked for the numbers, I told them exactly where to go! No way was I falling for that nonsense and buying any vouchers!

Complete scam regarding the PPI. I'm rather puzzled as to what their game is, but I haven't lodged any claims myself.

Beware of this number; it’s a complete con! Don't fall for their enticing deals, and steer clear of purchasing any vouchers. Cheers, D. Langford.

I found myself in much the same boat as others have described. Honestly, what's the deal with them asking for commission in iTunes vouchers? It makes you wonder if they were truly on the up-and-up, they’d have proper channels for collecting fees, or why not just subtract it from the total before any so-called 'delivery'? Clearly, it reeks of a scam-I've no intention of going near them. Still, it does pique my curiosity about what might have unfolded had I gone ahead and followed their instructions!

I received a rather peculiar call informing me that a chap named Richard White has a PPI cheque destined for my residence. Once the cheque has successfully cleared, I'll drop them a line, and then someone will swing by to pick up £200 in iTunes vouchers as their cut. Quite the odd arrangement, if you ask me!

It's definitely a scam, so I advise steering clear of it. If it were genuine, they'd be accepting payments via a bank card, not through iTunes.

I recently received a call from a rather mysterious number. The chap on the other end, who claimed to be called John Stellar and had an Asian/Indian accent, presented me with an intriguing offer of a cheque for £2,700. He mentioned that a local agent, by the name of Harry James, would drop it off personally. However, for this cheque to arrive, they required me to purchase £225 worth of iTunes vouchers and insisted that I confirm I had acquired them prior to the cheque being delivered. They assured me that the vouchers wouldn’t be touched until after the funds were cleared in my account. In case I needed to follow up, he provided me with a reference number and a call-back number: 0208 077 0875. He ominously claimed to be affiliated with the City County Court in London. Quite the peculiar situation, if you ask me!

My dad got a call from this number today, spouting the same nonsense lots of others reported. Someone claiming to be Mr Roger James, talking about iTunes vouchers and gave a reference code, rag619 or something like that. It's completely dodgy and we’re planning to report it to the cops. Seriously, don’t get caught up in this scam!

Today, my dad received a call from this number, and it was the usual nonsense echoed in previous comments. The caller, claiming to be Mr. Roger James, was prattling on about iTunes vouchers and insisted he quote some reference number, RAG619. It's absolutely ludicrous, and we’re definitely taking this to the authorities. Please, don’t let yourselves be duped by these characters!

I received a call from a mysterious number, and an Asian gentleman introduced himself as Kevin. The connection was dreadful, constantly cutting out. He proposed that I could receive a cheque for £2300, but I would need to shell out £175 for iTunes!
He even provided me with an address-227 Strand, London, WC2A 2LL-along with a reference number and a callback number, 0208 077 0875. I've tried ringing that number several times, only to speak with different Asian men who promptly hang up! What has me particularly alarmed is that they seemed to have knowledge of my home address. I'm in the process of reporting this incident.

I didn’t get a call directly from this number, but rather from a withheld number that claimed to be in touch with me regarding this one. It appears to be a dodgy scheme to dupe folks out of their cash regarding a PPI claim they’ve supposedly mis-sold. They’re trying to link it to a court ruling that’s supposedly in your favour, and then insist you purchase iTunes vouchers to settle some court fund fees. The chap on the line, who called himself Roger James, had a heavy accent and came across a bit dense. He even rattled off what sounds like a claim reference number, RAG619. It’s a right con, so do be wary, everyone!
