This number has called me six times already this week, and sometimes they ring from an 0151 code as well. The person who called me just now kept repeating “why do you judge me wrong, why do you judge me wrong” then told me to #### off and ended the call. I’m defiantly going to report them to the police!

Got a call today claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. They actually called me three times yesterday as well, from 020 8957 7944 and 020 8957 7423. On two of those calls I told them I knew they were trying to scam people and they just ended the call straight away. The one today sounded all shocked and said, "how can you say that?" like it was some big surprise.

WATCH OUT! Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT about issues with my internet. These calls are 100% scams. They often already know your name and address, so it sounds convincing. Usually, the aim is to get you online and let them control your device. Then they can steal info like bank details and passwords, all pretending to help. BE VERY CAREFUL. I don’t have a call blocker at the moment, so I’m saving these numbers as SCAM before blocking. They’re annoying to get but at least I ignore them now.

Showed a London number but a South African woman picked up and happily told me I’d won ten free EuroMillions tickets (lucky me!). I said I wasn’t interested, and she snapped back with “INTERESTED IN WHAT?!” I just stayed calm and said, “The EuroMillions, but I already Googled your number.” Then she hung up ??. I received a rather menacing voicemail on my mobile. I even picked up the call, only to be met with an automated message. When I attempted to return the call, it went unanswered. Over the past week, I’ve received four messages from this number on my home phone. The automated voice was really hard to make out. I tried calling back from my mobile but the call wouldn’t go through. I suspected straight away it was a scam because no decent company leaves messages like that. Got a robo voicemail this morning (1/11) saying "HMRC are taking legal steps against you." I rang back and spoke to some “advisor” who said I was being charged with tax evasion going back to 2005. I told him I haven't had any income tax liability in years. Then he said “you might need to give your bank info for a refund,” got all flustered and just hung up. After that, I called HMRC proper customer service, who told me I don’t owe anything and told me to report it to Action Fraud at 0300-123-2040. #SCAM ALERT Do not share your info or send money to these scammers.

Told a guy named James Watson it sounded like a con. He threatened that the cops would show up in a couple hours. Claimed they’d sent letters we never saw. Quite rude, really. I just received an automated phone call from a woman claiming to be with HMRC, insisting it was urgent and that I needed to call back immediately. Naturally, I was a bit taken aback and decided to return the call. An Irish gentleman picked up, and I explained that I'd received a message asking me to return the call, but no name was provided, which should’ve set off alarm bells. He asked me to hold for a moment, and, rather suspiciously fast-without any sound of keyboard tapping-he suddenly threw out a name I didn’t recognise at all. I informed him he'd got the wrong number, as I’ve lived at this address for over 20 years. When he probed about whether this was a new number for me, I confirmed it was, and he casually dismissed it and hung up. It all felt rather strange and left me feeling quite uneasy. Today, I received three voice messages on my landline. They echoed what many others have mentioned: a rather urgent legal matter and a stern warning to return the call before they initiate legal proceedings. Quite alarming, I must say!

Had a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, trying to get my personal info and bank details. They said there was a court order against me or something, just to scare me into giving away my details for who knows what - probably identity theft or messing about with my credit card. Total scam!

Just like everyone else here, I got calls twice today and a few times last week too. Didn’t bother answering 'cause I figured it was a scam. Really handy to have this site to check who they actually are!

Got 3 calls today all with the same recorded message saying legal action is coming lol almost got me worried but thank god for this site. Ive now deleted and blocked the number plus posted it on Facebook to give others a heads up.

Like many others here, I’ve found this to be a scam. It had us quite concerned, pondering what it could be. But once I did a quick search for the number, it all made sense. Just a word of caution: steer clear and don’t engage!

Got a couple of calls this morning, one from a Chris Anderson then Jason Webber. They were saying I owe nearly £4,000 and if I don’t sort it out, I’ll end up in jail over unpaid taxes!!! They were really pushy and quite intimidating, honestly left me feeling quite shaken. Just a heads up, don’t pick up and definitely don’t ring back. I’ve already reported it to the police and the fraud team.

Got the same type of calls here. Three calls all within 15 minutes this afternoon and another one came through yesterday. Honestly, this should be something the cops get involved with.

They rang me at 10:53 and then again at 10:54, just like they have about a dozen times before, always saying some urgent legal matter.

They claimed to be from HMRC and insisted that I get in touch with a solicitor right away once everything had settled. When I called them back, they reiterated they were HMRC, requesting names and various details. I swiftly ended the call!

I've been bombarded with dodgy phone calls from this lot-I've had about twelve now! The most recent ones were just moments apart, one at 10:53 in the morning and another at 10:54. It's utterly ridiculous!

Got a call at 7:29 from an automated voice saying 'Important revenue issue'. It's a landline number so there should be an address linked to it - this really needs reporting to the cops.

It's quite amusing, really. If I hadn't responded, they threatened to pursue legal measures. I had this peculiar message from the lady on my answering machine where she said, "goodbye and take care." So, I took her advice and decided not to return the call. Odd, isn't it?

They keep pushing so hard, even when I say I’m not interested and that they’re just trying to scam me. Those annoying people really get on my nerves, sometimes I just wanna go and give them a proper telling off or worse.

No clue who this is supposed to be, but I've gotten two messages from them today. Looks like a total scam, and if you ring the number back, you’ll most likely get hit with a massive bill. Best just to ignore it and tell any older family members to steer clear too.
