Received a call from someone posing as O2, trying to entice me with an amazing discount on a contract that I don’t even have! The chap had a thick Indian accent, definitely sounded like he was working from a call centre. Quite the dodgy situation, if you ask me!

Someone rang saying they were with O2, which made me a bit wary but I went along with it. Things got fishy when the "supervisor" they put me on sounded exactly like the first guy - that wait was obviously just to give them time to look stuff up. They ended up resetting my password, which I shouldn’t have let them do (had to change it again straight away). Later, I got an email with a "Pre-contract document" that didn’t match the great deal they’d been trying to pitch me - that was a huge warning sign. Really dangerous because it looked pretty convincing in many ways.

These scam calls are driving me mad! If I don’t know the number, I just don’t pick up. I usually look them up on this website first then block them straight away.

Someone rang me claiming to be from O2, said they’d put me through to their manager, so I just ended the call. They rang again, asked for my email, then told me to look at my emails. The message, supposedly from O2, said I needed to reset my password. That’s when I decided to hang up for good.
