This number rang me up, claiming they were with EE, but when I said I wasn’t an EE customer, they quickly switched to asking if I was with O2. Pretty clear scam if you ask me. Not long ago, I had nearly the same call come from a mobile number, so watch out everyone. I didn’t give away which network I really use, just to stop them from trying again from another number with a better story.

Got a call claiming my number was linked to Three mobile, which it definitely isn’t. I do use a 3 dongle though, so I listened a bit. They kept insisting on my email and even asked me to spell it out for some “verification” thing, which felt off since they should have had that info already. Pretty sure it was some kind of scam.

They said they’d ring back tomorrow. I reckon Three already have my email, so this sounds like a dodgy scam to me.

Strange phone call I received earlier. The person on the line asserted they were from O2, which is my mobile provider, and went on about a substantial discount for unlimited plans, which is ironic since I’m already on one. Next thing, I was passed to another individual who insisted on taking my email for 'verification'. I expressed my unease regarding this unsolicited contact, and he responded that it was entirely up to me, as they weren’t twisting anyone’s arm to take the offer. I decided to terminate the conversation.
