When we pushed back, they became quite hostile, and naturally, there was no chance of recuperating our original £150. They absurdly “assured” us we’d see the money returned as part of the loan… as if! The authorities and our bank have both advised us to steer clear of any lending entity that demands upfront fees. And let’s not even get started on the laughably low interest rate of 5.9%-that should have been an immediate red flag. STEER CLEAR of these con artists!
