So, I got a call from 02080681726 from some woman claiming to be a broker. She told me my money was secure and that I'd actually made profits. I said I’d already reported this firm, Gain-Fintech, to the cops, and then she just cut the call. Really sketchy!

Nearly every day I get calls from this number and others almost the same, all beginning with 020 8068 1###, and they’re all from this ‘first brokers’ lot. They keep telling me I asked about opening a bitcoin trading account, which I never did, and they try to help me set it up and get money deposited. Even if I tell them to stop calling or block the number, they just ring back the following day from a slightly different number. I saw a comment from 3/7 calling them scammers and that really hit home for me. Honestly, don’t bother picking up - just hang up straight away!

Looks like this number is part of the 0208 068 1xxx range and linked to some overseas crypto trading outfit called ‘fst brokers’. They’re total con artists, according to the FCA, not authorised or licenced to work here in the UK. Best steer clear of them, don’t fall for their empty words, and definitely don’t hand over any money or personal details.

No matter how many times I block them, these scammers just keep ringing me from new numbers. The 020 8068 172 one is a total con, they never stop trying.

The person on the other end didn’t say anything when I replied, just silence for a short moment. After a bit, I ended the call.

I answered the phone but no one said a word, just silence on the other end and then the call got dropped immediately.

They kept switching up the numbers to call me after I'd blocked the previous ones. It’s like they won’t give up at all, always finding a new number to ring. Proper annoying when you’re just trying to ignore them!
