Somebody called asking if I had been in a car crash. I told them no, I dont even own a car. Then the lady said she’d connect me to her supervisor. The supervisor came on and asked if I’d had a car accident or a work accident. I said no again and asked why they were even asking me. But before I could get an answer, the call was cut off.

Received a call today from someone who identified herself as Lisa... or something close to that. She inquired, “Have you had a car accident lately, is that correct?” I informed her that this was a private line and requested her to cease contact. I might have come across as a tad irate-perhaps 'slightly unhinged' would be more accurate! Anyway, I've gone ahead and blocked her number.

Received a call today at 16:59 from a young woman claiming to represent some dodgy outfit linked to Calamity. She asserted that they had been notified about a car accident I had, which, coincidentally, I confirmed happened way back in 1976. To my surprise, she abruptly cut the line. I do wish I’d continued the conversation a tad longer. When I attempted to dial the number back, it showed up as "invalid". How on earth are we able to get calls from a number that isn’t even valid? Surely the phone companies must have some hand in facilitating these shenanigans.
